Dear Bethesda Ark Family,
As the year draws to a close and we enter the quiet beauty of Christmas, I want to pause and speak directly to you, those who have read, shared, prayed, reflected, and walked this healing journey alongside Bethesda Ark. This season is a reminder that light still comes, even after the longest nights, and I am deeply grateful that you have been part of this community of restoration and truth.
This year has been one of courage and becoming. Together, we have named wounds that once felt unspeakable, explored healing after betrayal and abuse, and gently untangled identities that were shaped by survival rather than safety. Through blog posts, Instagram reflections, and shared conversations, we have made space for grief, growth, and God’s redemptive work. Many of you chose healing even when it was uncomfortable, slow, or lonely, and that is no small victory.
Christmas invites us to slow down, to reflect, and to remember that Jesus came not into perfection, but into brokenness. I encourage you to take intentional time in these coming days to sit with God, to reflect on how far you have come this year, and to honour the strength it took to keep going. Before rushing into new goals, allow yourself to rest, to grieve what was lost, and to thank God for what He has quietly rebuilt within you.
As we look ahead to 2026, I feel a deep sense of anticipation. The year ahead will bring deeper conversations, practical tools for emotional and spiritual healing, and new spaces for rebuilding identity, boundaries, and purpose. Bethesda Ark will continue to be a safe harbour, a place where truth meets compassion, and where healing is guided by both wisdom and faith.
Thank you for trusting this space. Thank you for showing up for yourself. And thank you for allowing God to meet you here.
May this Christmas bring you peace that settles your spirit, hope that anchors your heart, and courage for the journey ahead. I look forward to walking with you into a new year of restoration and renewal.
With gratitude and love,
Susan A.
